We'll want you to provide second and third-line support to key business systems. You'll bring your Wintel expertise to bear on systems such as the Internet Bank, Intranet, MPOS, MSO and TMW. Expect a varied challenge. You'll be involved with system configuration, recovery and tuning. You'll also carry out incident investigations, providing both root cause diagnosis and support documentation. There may be a requirement to support the systems via our on-call rota. Last but not least, you'll also turn your hand to project and service improvement activities such as building new infrastructure.

Who we're looking for
Given the breadth of this role, we're looking for a wide suite of skills. As a Wintel specialist, you'll need to have sound knowledge and understanding of the following packages: Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 Servers; IIS6 and 7. Conversant with Microsoft Core Services/Application and System Monitoring Tools, you will also possess first-rate problem solving, scripting and debugging skills. It won't all be about technical expertise however - strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach will be critical too.
