My client is looking for a fully qualified Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function and assist in running the business. The role will involve:

- providing commercial analysis and decision support to the Managing Directors
- production of monthly management accounts
- financial analysis and preparation of management information
- business case analysis and investment appraisals
- creating and implementing cost cutting/profitability increasing initiatives
- identifying and executing process improvements
- business partnering with non-finance
- liaising with the external auditors and assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts

Who we're looking for
My client is looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA,CIMA,ACCA) with a strong academic track record. He or she must be commercially astute, highly numerate with excellent interpersonal skills. The role will involve external client facing, and so the successful applicant will have very good presentation and communication skills. The role will be supporting the Directors of the company in driving the business forward. The ideal applicant will have a solid technical skill set, whilst having a demonstrable creative flair and a hunger to succeed.
