Contracts Negotiator

Provide accurate, timely and constructive solution-orientated contract services to maximise revenues and profitability in a manner that (a) minimises avoidable liabilities and eliminates improper or illegal conduct whilst (b) delighting the internal and external customer.

To act as a key influential member of an Account Team on high profile, complex deals and be able to articulate compelling solutions to the Customers business challenges, whilst considering and protecting Vodafone's interests.

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders, particularly in the Corporate and Business Sales channels, Commercial Support Group and Bid Management to achieve strategic goals.

To represent the Contracts Team as a valued member of senior key personnel meetings, such as the Approvals board meeting, where required
Responsibilities of this role will include:
• Drafting and Negotiating Corporate Contracts to CEO Level via email/conference call/Customer meetings
• Provide guidance and support to the Sales Teams throughout the Negotiation Process
• To support on Bid/Tender responses
• To support an aligned Sales Sector as a direct point of Contact, including attending Sector Meeting to give presentations
• Preparing and delivering Presentations to Colleagues/Sales
• Representing the Contracts Team on Approval Boards
• Representing the Contracts Team in Senior Stakeholder Meeting
• Carry out out the Contracts Surgery for Sales
• Attending internal meetings as part of an Account Team
• Working on business impacting Projects such as process improvement/Process testing
• Administration
• Supporting the team on Negotiations
• Supporting the Commercial Team in providing Contractual guidance
• Attending training where required

Who we're looking for
Essential

• Proven commercial contract negotiation experience in a telecoms or professional services environment

• Ability to confidently and effectively negotiate complex bespoke deals in a 'win-win' way

• Able to convey understanding and respect at all levels in both external and internal customers

• Ability to work in a dynamic, high uncertainty environment

• Professional excellence - strong contracts & legal knowledge

• Operational excellence - ensures effective end to end service to internal & external customers

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and relationship management

• Refined presentation and drafting skills

• Commercial acumen

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent facilitation and influencing skills , with the ability to support and motivate internal and external stakeholders.

• Skilled in working effectively with teams across all business functions

• Self motivating and able to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to find innovative and dynamic solutions to existing and new challenges and to effectively communicate these to Manager, team and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, managing internal and external stakeholder expectations.

• Pragmatic and creative by nature, team player and thrives on individual
