This opportunity is based in Edinburgh working within the Product Finance & Structuring team, a multidisciplinary team covering Real Estate related finance, tax, legal and fund structuring. The Real Estate Product Structuring Manager reports directly to the Head of Product Finance & Structuring. Working closely with the Real Estate Investment Team and the Real Estate Investment Specialist Sales Team you will play a key role in the development and delivery of new real estate product ideas. In addition, you will be central in ensuring that the existing suite of real estate fund products remains commercially attractive and legally compliant.
You will have responsibility for:
• identifying new opportunities for growth from the existing suite of Real Estate funds and products;
• initiating, structuring and implementing new real estate product solutions; and
• oversight of key regulatory and fund reporting issues in a changing regulatory environment.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have:-
• in depth knowledge of commercial and technical aspects of real estate fund structuring
• in depth practical knowledge of real estate fund structures
• knowledge of relevant regulations and corporate governance
This is a key role as the business executes its strategy for product development and growth.
Applicants will be Qualified Accountants with significant knowledge of, and a strong interest in, real estate investments. Ideally this will have been gained in a role dealing with the commercial and structuring aspects of real estate fund structuring. This may have been acquired in a corporate tax, finance or investments environment.
Excellent communication skills, an ability to present technical solutions in a simple yet effective manner and a collaborative, team focused approach are essential.
