An exciting new joint venture between Virgin and Strauss Water is due to launch in 2012. Virgin Strauss Water will launch a new consumer brand, marketing an advanced appliance that purifies, heats, cools and serves delicious water at the touch of a button. All from a consumer's mains water supply. The heart of our business is building long term relationships with customers by providing top quality drinking water that is convenient, environmentally conscious and economical.
With the combination of world class expertise in water solutions and a leading consumer brand, this new venture will launch a new product in an exciting new category. Virgin Strauss Water will launch the new brand mid-2012 to capture a central position in the home.
As part of this change, Virgin Strauss Water is looking for an eCommerce Marketing Manager to be based on site at the UK Headquarters just outside Guildford.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the eCommerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for the Virgin Strauss Water website, which is key to the business in acquiring and retaining customers, and for digital marketing activities to generate web traffic and optimise conversion to e-commerce sales or enquiries to the call centre. Working as part of a small, high-calibre team, this is a specialist role and impacts commercial revenue.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Management of the e-commerce enabled website including on-going development and optimisation
• Management of SEO, PPC and digital display advertising
• Development of social media strategy and plan
• Set up and management of affiliate programmes
• Managing tracking, reporting and analytics
• Monitoring KPI's and continually optimising to maximise ROI
• Manage hosting with external supplier(s)
• Ensuring all online activity is budgeted, integrated with offline marketing activity, delivered on time, against business objectives and brand positioning
Who we're looking for
Of graduate calibre, Virgin Strauss Water is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing and eCommerce professional. With a proven track record in managing the online channel for a UK business to consumer brand, you will have extensive experience of website development, content management, PPC and SEO, digital display advertising, user testing and web analytics. You will be an excellent communicator, with a clear and consistent style and the ability to add value quickly.
As this role is the digital lead within the company, you will be evangelical about digital, and be ahead of the curve as new technologies are brought to market. Your personal passion for your work will set you apart from the crowd.
