Successful International Sales Director for Abacus Lighting will be responsible for:
• Selling solution based exterior lighting and services.
• The International export business in the Middle East, Far East, Africa, Australasia and both North and South America.
• Involvement in setting up and management of sales offices within the international territories and strategic development of international business opportunities for Abacus Lighting.
• Training, mentoring and developing a multi cultural remote sales team, agents and distributors across region.
• Developing major projects across a range of markets including sport stadia, airports, road, rail, ports, industrial and commercial based applications.
• Building excellent relationships with key stakeholders including contractors, consultants and end-users both in the UK and Internationally.
• Defining and implementing sales strategies, business plans,costing and pricing across the globe.
Who we're looking for
Successful International Sales Director for Abacus Lighting will have:
• Knowledge of worldwide markets and economies.
• Worldwide experience of developing major infrastructure projects as a project contractor / consultant background.
• A Cultural sensitivity and awareness of differing business practices.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel.
• Experience and evidence of developing successful export strategies.
• Export Management experience, managing a team.
• Languages skills preferred but not essential
