The Company is a leading Tier 2 supplier to the European automotive industry. Manufacturing a wide range of complex products, my client is experiencing a sustained period of growth and expansion across its international sites. In line with the company's succession planning, they now seek to recruit a Senior Quality Manager, focussing on their external customers.
The Role:
My client is seeking a progressive Senior Quality Manager to join their expanding European division. Your team will be geographically placed across Europe servicing customer needs and managing all issues e.g. containment, corrective actions and preventative actions, as such you will need to have excellent communication skills in order to remotely manage the team. Your team will be a critical element in managing internal day to day quality measures such as process auditing, internal non conformance reports, standard operating procedure adherence and internal deviation control. You will be a key part of the senior management team, a strong desire to succeed whilst keeping customer satisfaction at the top of your agenda is paramount for the successful candidate.
Who we're looking for
You will have experience of:
• An industrial background i.e. Automotive, Aerospace or General Manufacturing experience • Remote management of Engineers and Customers / Suppliers is a must • Managing ISO/TS systems (Maintenance / Productivity / Compliance) • Implementing and monitoring APQP methodology in new product developments • Initiate and increase improvements using FMEA's, control plans and SPC • Utilising and ensuring 8D's and internal NCR's are robust and prevent reoccurrence of issues
