The Relationship Marketing Manager's responsibilities: • Manage existing key portal and newspaper partnerships to ensure quality traffic to achieve visitor, revenue and profitability targets • Understand all commercial aspects of the partner and affiliate accounts, including commercial terms, competitor activity, identifying new opportunities and potential risks • Manage reporting both internally (against aforementioned key metrics and other supplementary ones) and externally (partner activity reporting) • Regular communication and meetings with partners • Driving new revenue generating initiatives within existing partner relationships • Work closely with Editorial and SEO teams to introduce content opportunities. • Proactively use in-house and third party systems / tools • Work closely with the Design and IT / Development teams on managing partner implementation requirements • Support in driving new business initiatives - both within existing partnerships model and in launching and developing new opportunities • Support in new business meetings and pitches
Who we're looking for
The Relationship Marketing Manager must have the following: • At least 3 years proven track record in account management or affiliate marketing is required for this role • Thrive on working in a results-focused and target-orientated environment. • Proven track record in managing third party relationships or affiliate marketing with an emphasis on growing business • Solid understanding of online marketing • Excellent commercial acumen and numeracy • Ability to forge and maintain key relationships with third parties • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to identify and develop opportunities within current processes
