Our clients remit in Corporate Finance is broad, covering a range of industry sectors. Their M&A team advises clients on acquisitions, disposals, valuation and raising capital; while their Restructuring team provides support to under-performing, financially distressed or insolvent businesses.
The M&A advisory practice is supported through a matrix structure by a number of specialist industry teams with deep sector expertise and functional specialist teams covering areas such as valuations, quoted lead advisory and transaction services. Lead Advisory provides the full range of deal management services to corporates and investors, advising on both M&A and private equity based transactions.
Their Healthcare lead advisory team offers an impressive transaction history and comprehensive understanding of contemporary sector issues.The team includes professionals with direct experience working within the health care industry and benefits from a well-established network of key market contacts. Commended fortheir hands-on approach at all levels,they work closely with owners and managers on both the buy and sell side and offer a full range of financial advisory and transaction services.
Working closely with Partners, responsibilities will include:
• Day to day management control of transactions
• Proactively assist in business development by instigating and managing marketing activity
• Developing a position as trusted advisor with clients and winning work
• Manage engagements profitably
• Adopt a hands on practical and commercial approach to assignments
Who we're looking for
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
• Previous Corporate Finance experience managing deals
• Excellent market knowledge in the pharmaceuticals, medtech or wider life sciences sector
• Previous experience of working in a transactional environment in industry
• Existing relationships within the investment and corporate community
• Ability to undertake detailed financial/commercial analysis to identify all key business issues and where necessary innovative solutions
• Ability to develop, coach and motivate junior members of the team
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to growth and revenue generation
