• Lead & facilitate all project/programme activities within a multi-discipline team, including process development, layouts, design buy-off, specification, quotations, and final commissioning among others
• Lead customer & supplier liaison and negotiation on task issues, and develop strong customer relationships
• Ensure adherence to robust program management process throughout all stages of the program.
• To create, maintain and effectively communicate adequate project plans and resource profiles as required internally and externally.
• Liaison with plant departments to ensure satisfactory project handover on completion
• A key participant within the Value Stream team, supporting the Value Stream leader in the delivery of long-term technical, operational and financial results for their product lines.

Who we're looking for
• Qualified to a minimum of HNC level in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years experience of Programme Management within the automotive environment
• Commercially aware with experience of leading multi-disciplined teams utilising relevant management tools
• A sound understanding of modern manufacturing techniques (e.g. TPS)
• A good level of financial acumen, specifically with experience of estimating and managing budgets
• Driving license essential
• Computer literacy a must.
