Finance Director

We are searching for the Finance Director of a newly created £35 million turnover division which has been separated from a larger division to enable more focussed growth. You will proactively support this growth commercially whilst being involved in and accountable for the overall financial performance of the division. You will orchestrate the financial planning processes including leading the annual budgeting process and supporting the MD in the preparation of the 5 year strategic plan. You will also play a key role in the contract negotiation and bidding processes and will recruit and train a small team of divisional finance staff.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who will ideally able to demonstrate a depth of experience in long-term Project Accounting. Given the small team, it is essential that you enjoy being involved in the detail but are able to see the big picture. Since you will play a key role in presenting financial information at all levels from local management through to Group Board level, you must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills.
