The Performance Test Specialist will participate as a member of our BAS Performance Team.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop Test Strategy, Test Procedures and Test Plans for any Performance project
• Execute and maintain the test assets in line with the agreed Test Strategy, Test Procedures and Test Plans
• Support the Performance Test Manager in providing timely and accurate information on the stability and Performance quality of the systems delivered
• Provide relevant information on a project's lifecycle
• Undertake automated scripting activities using Loadrunner including creation and execution of scripts, preparation of reports with performance analysis of tests
• Produce Performance Capacity Models
• Ensure quality completion of projects

Who we're looking for
Essential Skills:

• QuickTest Professional experience • Strong Performance/Testing experience • Visual Basic Knowledge
• Working knowledge of Unix operating system and file management
• Infrastructure experience • Networks experience • Weblogic experience • Tibco experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills:

• ISEB/ISTQB qualified
• Experience of LoadRunner
• Quality Centre
• Web applications, (HTML, ASP, Java Applet)
• WinRunner knowledge
• TestDirector experience 
Security Requirements:

Candidates must be willing and eligible to undergo DVA (Defence Vetting Agency) clearance granted by the UK Government
