Passionate about creating engaging, entertaining, valuable and visible content the holder of this role will increase recruitment and retention of customers through the management, editorship and curation of the company website and our online content. Current main objectives of the role: 1. Development and redesign of the website - to profile the product maximising recruitment and also creating a destination point for financial advice within the SME and Freelancer community. 2. Curation, editorial and commissioning of content to demonstrate the product and facilitate usage by users. 3. Day-to-day editorship of the website to create a newsworthy, dynamic and engaging site. 4. On-going optimisation and testing of content to maximise recruitment and conversion and retention levels. 5. Provision of content for email, syndication and press coverage as required by other members of the team.
Who we're looking for
- Excellent copy writing and editing skills, extremely high standards in creation of quality copy. - Experience of creating, commissioning and editing video and audio content an advantage as well as photography skills - It is envisaged that the holder of this role would have at least 4-5 years experience of managing and editing a dynamic and highly visible site, and will have carried out several site redesigns. - Excellent knowledge of SEO and track record of implementation of best practice to achieve good results. - Taxonomy and internal search - experienced in creation and maintenance of site taxonomy and delivery of excellent internal site search. - Excellent html and knowledge of CRM systems an advantage - Experience in IA creation, commissioning and / or carrying out UX and usability research, and then implementing those results - Analytical approach - Team player - Demonstrable track record as a 'game changer' in terms of the innovation and improvement they can bring to an area. - Robust, flexible and positive attitude to work, hardworking and driven - Keen to learn and adapt to changing landscape of the digital arena - Likes working quickly and under pressure
