The Chief Executive plays a key role in the development and smooth running of the organisation and responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the experienced Board to deliver a strategy that takes the organisation through the next phase of its development
• Building up and leading a talented team of fundraisers, marketers, corporate financiers and business managers
• Introducing innovative income generation programmes
• Working to build up YCR brand awareness and engagement with a large and diverse stakeholder group
• Ensuring the effective management, financial security and governance of the organisation

Who we're looking for
Yorkshire Cancer Research (YCR) is transforming to position itself for the next ten years and now seeks a committed, innovative Chief Executive with a rounded mix of commercial and organisational skills to lead it through the most challenging and exciting period of change in its 86 year history.
You will be an experienced change manager with exceptional communication and organisational management skills and will be commercially astute with the personality and intellect to thrive in a business orientated charitable environment.
