Cost Accountant

Reporting into the Cost Controller in a team of 3you will get involved with all aspects of one off-product and standard costing. You will also take a lead on the factory floor liaising with operational personnel to improve processes and ensure efficiency. Mainstream duties will also include assisting with management accounts prep and in depth varianceanalysis. You will also get involved in profitability analysis on new product lines working closely with the Commercial Accountant.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACCA part qualified nearing the end of their studies with previous costing experience. Candidates with more mainstream management accounts exposure within large manufacturing organisations are also encouraged to apply. We are searching for an ambitious and progressive individual with strong communication skills. You must be confident in challenging norms with both finance and non finance staff and be passionate about the improvements you are seeking to implement.
