Market Data Analyst

Passionate about building insight, understanding results and seeing patterns in data that can create real differences in the way a business operates or communicates with its customers; the person doing this role will be responsible for managing and analysing our marketing data and results.

Current key objectives of the role:

1. Analysis of data and results from all parts of our activity including web statistics, marketing campaigns and user data.
2. Setting-up and monitoring of systems to enable other members of the business to access key metrics in real time.
3. Day-to-day management and custodianship of customer database and data analytics packages (supported by our tech team), to ensure that they are fit for purpose.
4. In conjunction with other members of the team the creation of an appropriate customer segmentation / insight lead customer comms plan.
5. Providing data pulls for marketing campaigns.
6. Management and delivery of 'ad hoc' research and analytics projects.

Who we're looking for
- It is envisaged that the person doing this role will be an experienced marketing data analyst, with a track record of supporting a high profile marketing team in delivering campaigns and getting successful results.
- Demonstrable track record as a 'game changer' in terms of the insight and therefore the improvement and results they can enable a team to achieve.
- Solid experience in CRM and customer segmentation, including digital media.
- Highly numerate, very analytical approach.
- Experience of looking after data systems, and adoption of new SAAS technologies.
- Naturally curious, always looking to create improvement and innovation.
- Experience and awareness of common analytical techniques and methods, statistical significance and tools.
- Team player
- Robust, flexible and positive attitude to work, hardworking and driven
- Keen to learn and adapt to changing landscape of the digital arena
- Likes working quickly and under pressure
- Experience of managing data, up to date with all DP legislation and best practice.
