Based at their regional officeas in Slough - As the Retail Marketing Manager the overall purpose of the role is to initiate, develop and execute retail campaigns in order to maximise the performance of the divisions products. You will achieve this by undertaking the following responsibilities; • Drive visibility - develop and execute a plan to ensure that the organisation becomes the most visible brand within its category • Develop and execute an effective promotions strategy by working with sales and key customers to put in place a clear and effective promotions calendar • Develop and execute an effective strategy that delivers a great in store experience leading to an improved brand image. • Manage retail marketing plans - work in conjunction with consumer marketing to develop and deliver effective NPI plans. • Efficiently execute global guidelines in retail, providing effective localisation where required. • Improve the organisations penetration at different levels within varying functions • Manage coach and develop the retail marketing team ensuring they are focused on the key initiatives and priorities. • Develop the organisations reputation within the industry as a leading organisation by putting in place some clear simple and engaging category thinking for the department.
Who we're looking for
As the Retail Marketing Manager you must have strong consumer facing experience gained from retail and trade marketing in addition to this our client has asked for someone with the following attributes and experiences; • Solid experience of leading successful retail marketing projects • Comfortable leading a small team • Has strong commercial acumen • Can balance multiple projects and work to aggressive time scales within budget. • Excellent inter personal and communication skills • Good networking and relationship building qualities • Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment. • Experience in working withinperformance management.
