New Business Manager

• To help set the recruitment objectives for each year.
• To develop an overall recruitment strategy in line with these objectives, including a list of agencies to target for membership.
• To research thoroughly all recruitment prospects and develop appropriate contact strategies.
• To organise recruitment events (e.g. drinks evenings or lunches) that may take place in London or elsewhere in the UK.
• To field and handle all agency membership enquirieswe receive.
• To oversee the whole recruitment process each quarter. This involves the Membership Committee and Council meetings, and the induction session once the new members have been admitted.
• To work closely with the Retention team in embedding new agencies into membership quickly and efficiently.
• To manage the workload and development of the New Business Assistant.
• To manage the organisation and activity of the New Business and Marketing Group (with the help of a Communities Assistant). The members of this Group tend to be Heads of New Business/Marketing Directors within various member agencies, and its overall purpose is to improve the new business process for agencies and clients alike.

Who we're looking for
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Conscientious, with a careful eye for detail.
• Good knowledge of the advertising industry (some agency experience would be highly beneficial).
• Excellent people management skills (at all levels).
• Flexible and versatile team player.
• Good time manager.
• Self starter and entrepreneurial.
• Quick learner.
• Strong communication, presentation and selling skills (pitching to senior-level people within prospective member agencies is a key part of the role).

What's on offer
Circa £30k with £5-7k additional bonuses
