Customer Service Team Leader

Today, Cytec Engineered Materials' products are used on nearly every modern commercial transport aircraft, military aircraft and rotorcraft in production.

We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our European Customer Service group, based at our Wrexham manufacturing site.

Overview:

Working within a fast paced manufacturing environment, the Customer Service Team Leader will report to the Order Fulfilment Manager and have overall responsibility for our customer service activities within Europe. This includes full management of the European Customer Service Team, consisting of 8 direct reports based at our Wrexham, UK and Oestringen, Germany manufacturing sites, as well as direct Customer Service responsibility for several key Cytec Engineered Materials customers.

As the Customer Service focal point, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, relevant functional groups, and at all levels within the organization to ensure that customer demands and business needs are fully understood and met.

Using your strong leadership skills, you will successfully prioritize issues under conditions of ambiguity, stress and uncertainty and demonstrate maturity in managing and resolving conflict whilst leading a team.

Adopting a hands on approach to team management, you will further develop a 'culture of excellence' across the Customer Service team, and using a learning approach towards continuous improvement, you will support various process improvement projects and effectively manage change from a team and process perspective.

Who we're looking for
Key Requirements:

• Significant experience in a Customer Service Representative role within a manufacturing environment.
•A proven track record of successfully managing Customer Service teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable understanding of Customer Service and Supply Chain management.
• Service oriented attitude and passion for delivering first class customer service.
• Exceptional people management and development skills.
• Ability to travel to our manufacturing site in Germany approximately 4 times per annum, as well as occasional travel to USA to participate in leadership meetings.
