Business Development Manager

This is a field based business services role covering London and Essex postcodes.
• Intensively prospect and close new business amongst key vertical markets: financial, legal, government, healthcare etc within their designated territory.
• The ability to build close relationships of trust and confidence with key decision-makers and influencers within a prospect and in doing so is able to differentiate the service offering from those of our competitors.
• To monitor and identify developments and opportunities within the industry and market place which will in turn allow us to continue to refine and hone our proposition.

Who we're looking for
Selling into prospects with multiple decision-makers and influencers with potentially long sales cycles.
•Business to business sales experience,it is essential that you have previous experience within the sector (Shredding Services)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate at a senior level with prospects and internally.
• Highly driven, self-motivated and willing to excel through consistent hard work and determination.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• IT literate with knowledge and experience of using all Windows based packages
