Sales Director EMEA

Reporting to the VP, Global Sales and Marketing the key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and deploying a sales strategy focussed on winning profitable new business and further developing penetration in the key accounts across the EMEA region, whilst ensuring sales targets are met.

• Providing inspirational leadership to the EMEA sales team and ensuring a comprehensive coverage across all market sectors and channels to market.

• Building strong relationships with key clients and supporting major bids and tenders.

• Developing sales and account management strategies at all levels in the sales function that will engender a results orientation

• Structuring and building a sales team and ensuring talent is best deployed in high growth target markets.

• Developing detailed sales plans, budgets and forecasts for presentation to Group.

Who we're looking for
Prospective candidates will be of graduate calibre, and proven Sales Director with a demonstrable track record of success ideally gained in the chemical distribution or aerospace sector. You will be a strong leader, able to motivate and develop a new business and account management teams. In addition taking a lead role in major bids and tenders and building strong relationships with key clients across the EMEA region. Of equal importance are an exceptional commercial awareness coupled with strong interpersonal skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Director to make a real impact in a high growth international chemical distribution business.

Headquartered in the US, Haas Group International is the first integrated, global chemical business offering chemical management service, product distribution, logistic/warehousing to an enviable portfolio of global clients. The business has attained considerable success through organic growth and acquisition and currently generates revenues in excess of $500m.

The European operation is a key component of the business and has recently completed two strategic acquisitions that have resulted in a $120m division in EMEA. The mandate moving forward is to further grow market reach and penetration across the region and bring the businesses together as a cohesive operation. The business is keen to maximise the growth potential in EMEA and therefore has an urgent need to appoint a Sales Director.
