Content Executive

Consumer Durables

Journalist, copywriter, content professional

1. Responsible for driving the look and feel of all Group sites, via creation of compelling content
2. Set the industry benchmark for inspiring consumers to purchase company products
3. Rejuvenate the household sectors by being the industry voice for fashion and design advice
4. Keep content fresh and up to date with the very latest design trends, gleaned from attending overseas exhibitions and developing contacts within the design industry
5. Develop relationships with and liaise with 3rd party content contributors, eg journalists and interior designers
6. Seek out and develop partnership opportunities with "well known" designers
7. Work with and support colleagues across North America and the Far East with design advice
8. Ensure each site is unique and differentiated (via content)
9. Maintain and develop all site content, including Step by Step guides, design trends, inspiration pieces, etc (build library)
10. Identify new content opportunities eg face book and blogs
11. Ensure content is search engine friendly and allows the sites to gain highest possible rankings
12. Lead the group of businesses in developing an in-house competence around content production
13. Support affiliate channel on content production

Who we're looking for
Graduate with excellent academics 2:1 English OR journalist, copywriter, content exec with a flair for creative (fashion led) writing!
You need to be able to demonstrate a good level of experience and maturity in the role as it is 'stand alone' and requires a self starter.
