Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: • Managing the Regional Management Information team, ensuring that they are mentored and developed to full potential • Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and monthly business reports for group and regional sectors and developing these in line with changing business requirements • Detailed Profit & Loss account analysis • Taking ownership of the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for the UK Region • Identifying trends in business performance and advising senior management where appropriate • Ensuring costing rates are appropriate to the achievement of corporate objectives • Assisting in the preparation of information for large bids • Developing relationships with senior management across the region to ensure awareness of the forward performance of the business • Providing input into acquisitions as required • Managing the employee expense claim authorisation and processing service for the UK business • Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager
Who we're looking for
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: • Degree qualified with recognised professional accounting qualification • Post qualification experience in a business environment providing analytical information in a user friendly way and experience of financial controls and double entry ledgers • Experience of using complex business systems as a reporting tool • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards • Strong analytical skills • Excellent communication skills to influence senior management and to assertively support the expense team. • Ability to manage and motivate people to deliver high quality work in an efficient way
