We are currently looking for a life insurance professionals to work in the UK. You will be proficient in written and spoken English, happy to travel. You may have worked as a suitably qualified accountant or auditor in the Life and Pensions sector. We would particularly like to hear from you if you have auditing strategic change projects. Duties include: Assist the Portfolio Manager in developing relevant audit engagements. Responsible for planning, scoping and delivering audits in compliance with the Group Audit standards. Able to operate with minimum supervision on complex audit assignments, subject to guidance as required. Agreement of final audit reports and corrective actions with senior management and ensuring agreed actions are tracked and implemented. Involvement as required in strategic corporate change projects, providing controls and risk consultancy. Provision of controls, risk and governance counsel to the business as required within areas of knowledge

Who we're looking for
Detailed knowledge of principles of internal controls, processes, assessment and design of compliance testing. Detailed knowledge of industry audit practices, plans and trends. Good understanding of Industry, key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues, standards and guidelines, regulatory environment and developments.
This role requires someone who has had experience of cultivating relationships across a business and working cross functionally with key partners. There will be exposure to Senior Management and you will need to be able to build credible and influential relationships and networks. People management skills, strong communication skills and the ability to see the bigger picture and think creatively to provide alternative solutions are a must have.
