We are currently recruiting for new talent into our Actuarial departments in Aviva Life UK based in York. If you are studying or part qualified in the Faculty or Institute of Actuaries examinations with eight or more passes and significant actuarial experience, we want to hear from you.

Who we're looking for
• Studying for or part qualified in the Faculty or Institute of Actuaries examinations with at least 8 passes (Not exemptions). • A minimum of 12 months exposure to a UK based Actuarial role (Trainee Actuary or Actuarial Analyst etc.) • A broad technical knowledge and understanding of actuarial principles, formulae and methodology. • Highly numerate and analytical with a developed capability to interpret data and establish alternatives and solutions to complex problems. • High degree of computer literacy. Prophet knowledge is desirable. • Knowledge of industry regulatory frameworks and of other corporate areas and projects. • Understand the needs of our end customers. • Good communication skills. • Knowledge of the industry and organisation. • Knowledge of life insurance, pensions and investment products.
