Principal Case Officer

You will be responsible for leading/ sponsoring a portfolio of complex and difficult casework including: planning, high quality interpretation and analysis and recommendations and delivery on time. In addition, you will deliver high quality, timely and cost effective investigations/ market studies under theorganisation's regulatory and competition powers whilst managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Who we're looking for
The right candidate will demonstrate the following:

- Degree level education,

- Knowledge of utility regulation and current economic issues, how market forces deliver benefits to consumers and EU and UK competition law and policy,

- Experience of leading and successfully delivering high profile casework or casework related policy (competition based cases, market reviews/ determinations/ disputes etc),

- A track record of delivering high quality decisions on time to a demanding schedule,

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills including numerical analysis,

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
