Sales & Service Business Systems Manager

This role will work closely with our business partners, creating, maintaining and delivering the Information Systems Strategy for the commercial businesses, providing thought leadership and depth of understanding on business process implementation and the supporting IT tools.

The position will work closely with the Sales and Service functions and commercial managers, business leaders and key stakeholders to understand the current and future business needs, driving functional initiatives that have an IT component.
The role will provide a key touch point for the forthcoming SAP implementation.

The position will be responsible for working closely with the relevant IS and business colleagues for all aspects of the IT tools and business processes including:

• review and evaluation of opportunities
• preparation of business cases/concept proposals
• gathering of business requirements and preparation of functional specifications
• prioritisation and coordination of development
• project and programme management for systems implementation
• business process definition and harmonisation
• systems harmonisation
• preparation of plans for continuous improvement

The role will provide leadership across the Europe, Emerging Markets and Asia regions for the provision of sales and service tools and services.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for candidates who have come from a large, complex corporate environments and who have demonstrable experience of managing Sales and/or Service stakeholders.

You will also have demonstrable experience in the following:-

• Track record of successful leadership in the business and IT communities at both the strategic and tactical levels, advocating and driving change through to results for both communities
• Experience of delivering integrated IT solutions and services; experience with systems development, project management and procedures harmonisation
• Experience of programme managing a portfolio of initiatives to successfully deliver on business expectations
• Proven ability to lead and effectively drive necessary changes in both the IT and business communities with a strong emphasis on proactive communication and practical project delivery
• Leadership competencies at high levels (employ financial acumen, exercise insightful judgement, think strategically, engage and inspire, build talent, lead by example, advancing innovation, customer focus).

We anticipate approximately 20% travel associated with this role.
