Working for a rapidly growing innovative business, this hands-on leadership role requires the successful candidate to be actively involved with manufacturing engineering project activities whilst providing day to day management of the manufacturing engineering team.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing engineering team
• Performance management of the engineering team including creation and monitoring of agreed objectives and personal development plans
• Prioritise and allocate work amongst the team to ensure deadlines are met
• Manage multiple projects in manufacturing process development, optimisation and design transfer
• Develop and maintain appropriate KPIs for manufacturing engineering team

Who we're looking for
• Degree (or equivalent) in relevant engineering discipline
• Experience of leading a team of engineers
• Demonstrable application of process improvement techniques
• 6 sigma green belt or other process improvement training
• Experience in a highly regulated industry such as Medical Devices, Automotive, Aerospace
