In this newly created senior sales position reporting to the Managing Director you'll be tasked with delivering against our clients exciting growth plans. Key responsibilities will include:
• Taking an active lead in developing new business opportunities from pitch through to delivery
• Delivery of budgeted sales revenues and profit contribution
• Leadership and development of the size and capability of the sales team
• Playing an active part in the development of Smart Debit's strategic direction and growth plans as part of the leadership team
Who we're looking for
You'll be a sales leader who thrives on a player manager remit, adept at leading from the front whilst also developing strategy and managing successful sales performance from a small team. Motivated by the opportunity of developing new business you'll be highly adept at selling service-based technology solutions at 'C' Level, ideally, with significant exposure to the financial services vertical.
It's likely you'll have had experience in leading or mentoring sales professionals although this isn't essential. A passion for working with people and developing their sales capability is essential.
Knowledge experience is important so you'll have an in-depth understanding of the payment processing industry. This could include credit cards, direct debit, payroll or Foreign Exchange.You'll have a successful track record in selling these outsourcing solutions into either SMEs, Corporate or Public Sector clients. Specific exposure to selling into the Banks or Insurance companies would be highly desirable.
