The role of a Merchandise Manager will be to manage a team of merchandisers and ensuring that they deliver on their day to day duties and targets.
The product area for the role is flexible, although with the role being within a Retail environment you will be either from a Retail or On-Line environment.
You will report directly in to a Senior Merchandising manager and have daily contact with the Buying Team. You will have responsibility in recruiting your team.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:-
• You will be either a Senior Merchandiser or Merchandise Manager working in either a Retail or On-Line environment.
• You will have a proven record in developing your team and achieving key targets and KPI's.
• Experience of working in an environment where there is a focus on Range Building would be an advantage.
• You will have worked in an environment where you are in control of or influence the "Open to Buy"
• You will be familiar with WSSI reporting.
• My client is open on product area, although experience within Music, Video, & Games and all Electrical products would be an advantage.
