LandProp is a well established international developer with sister offices in six countries and many exciting development projects completed. Due to the UK function expanding, the board has decided to recruit a UK Head of Finance to direct and oversee the financial activities of the company. The main responsibilities of the role include:
• Ensure smooth day to day running of the finance function
• Assisting with investment requests and special investigations
• Supervise and review the work of the Finance Assistant
• Monthly P&L reporting against budget, implementing key KPI's for the teams
• Detailed P&L/Cash-Flow Budgeting & Reforecasting skills
• Setting up and managing estate service charges, collection of incomes and management of expenditure against budgets
• Assisting in setting up contracts (leasing, purchasing, construction, etc) and managing resulting financial matters
• Creating the business plan, forecast spending and preparing reports of investment requests
• Working closely with Senior Management to optimize financial structure of UK companies
• Further responsibilities will include managing the year-end audit process, preparation of group accounts, process simplification, formulating targets and budgets, monthly management account preparation
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Experience within Property Management/Development is desirable but not essential.They will have can-do attitude and proactive approach and be able to integrate within a small but growing team.
•A flexible and enthusiastic individual who is able to adapt to a dynamic environment and deliver a high degree of financial accuracy
• Strong budgeting and reporting skills against agreed KPI's
• Excellent accounting knowledge
• Strong team management skills
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships across the wider business
• Financial and Management accounting experience
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Other desirable attributes are:
• Ability to think strategically and practically to operate within a growing business and add value beyond the numbers
• Strong systems skills including Excel
• Comfortable working as part of a team or independently as required
• Good commercial acumen

Owned by Inter Ikea, LandProp has recently acquired several large scale sites in and around London with plans for around three million sq ft of offices, residential, retail and leisure facilities. One major project underway is the regeneration of a 10 hectare site near the Olympic stadium in Stratford where LandProp plans to develop over 1,200 homes, offices and restaurants during the next five to eight years.
