Reporting to the CEO the appointed Group Finance Director will have the following responsibilities:
• Operating as a member of the Board providing strategic and financial management as well as leadership across the Group.
• Acting as a key business partner to the CEO and supporting the on-going development and deployment of a business strategy focussed on profitable growth.
• Taking full responsibility for all financial management, reporting and developing consistent financial processes across the Group.
• Managing and developing a small finance team based in Malta.
• Appraising and reviewing the performance of the group business divisions and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies to support growth and profitability.
• Playing a key role in appraising potential acquisitions and contributing to transactions and subsequent integrations.
Who we're looking for
•Prospective candidates will be qualified accountants or an international equivalent with a demonstrable track record of success operating as a Finance Director in high growth international commercial business.
• Experience of introducing robust financial systems and processes to support growth will be a pre requisite.
• You will have a strong mix of strategic and operational experience coupled with an exceptional commercial awareness.
• Of equal importance are outstanding interpersonal skills to make a real impact in this high growth entrepreneurial business.
• The Group Finance Director role will require the successful candidate to be based in Malta.
