The Senior Membership Executive is responsible for managing the different membership life cycles and ensuring members member benefits and fully engaged with work. The candidate will also be the key contact for new members, meeting most new members upon joining and directing them to the member benefits most relevant to them; following up with members as part of their membership life cycle. Long term projects will include: • Working with the Head of Marketing and Membership to develop and launch a member retention and engagement strategy • Working with the Database Manager to develop the best way of recording member activity onCRM tool the Raiser's Edge and developing the use of the Raiser's Edge • Working across all departments to ensure that key projects and services are communicated to relevant members • Developing the membership categories with the rest of the membership and marketing teams to improve retention and recruitment The candidate should have knowledge of current membership trends, innovations and best practice. This is a new role and so the chosen candidate will need to quickly establish themselves in the role whilst developing strong and positive relations with other teams.
Who we're looking for
o Excellent working knowledge of the Raiser's Edge or similar database o developing simple but effective membership processes o Excellent knowledge of membership trends and innovations o updating websites o Ability to confidently write, edit and proof copy understanding objectives of the copy, tailoring it for the target audience o Excellent project management skills with managing multiple projects for internal clients and communicating progress with projects o Advanced Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, particularly Excel o Understanding of membership organisation best practise
