You will provide high quality commercial, legal and financial advice and decision making support to the Commercial Director in relation to new business opportunities and existing operational projects.

The Key areas of responsibility will be:

• Commercial Contracts - Drafting, negotiating and commercial interpretation.

• Business Development - Advise the business development team on the bid evaluation and tender submission.

• Commercial Strategy - Assist in the development of commercial strategy and influence through awareness of the healthcare sector.

• Contract Management - Support colleagues in managing and optimising existing contracts.

• Communications - Manage the relationships with selected internal and external professional advisors.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake frequent and regular UK travel.

Who we're looking for
You must have gained substantial experience as a contract manager or commercial manager within the health or Social sector from a commissioning perspective. In addition you must be able to demonstrate:

• detailed knowledge of legal agreements in a project contracting environment; and

• Knowledge of commercial insurance and risk management techniques.

You will be required to have been educated to a degree level and have a legal qualification (Degree, CPE, LPC).
