Senior Buyer

Manufacturing

Permanent ⁄ £35000

Responsibilities will include-

• Sourcing and Supplier & Purchase Order Management
• You will be responsible for a particular category and the associated spend
• Meeting agreed targets linked to cost savings, supplier consolidation and Supplier relationship management
• Liaising with other parts of the business on new sourcing initiatives, taking the lead where appropriate
• Managing supplier performance
• Maintaining and updating price lists

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm towards procurement and a willingness to develop within the role.

The following experience and Qualifications would be advantageous-

• Experience using SAP
• Proven experience in supplier relationship management (SRM)
• CIPS qualification
• Experience with six sigma principals
