Commercial Accountant

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Controller, the purpose of the role is to provide in depth analysis and commercial decision support to the Senior Management Team.
• Delivering commercial decision support and holding managers accountable for performance against plan.
• Monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.
• Regular reporting for the business including re-forecasting of current year to date position.
• Progressing the Finance Department through smarter ways of working, improvements to processes and looking for opportunities to add value.
• Providing advice and coaching to business customers on all things financial.
• Providing challenge where decisions could adversely affect the bottom line.
• Making performance vs. plan / forecast visible for managers.

Who we're looking for
• Educated to degree level
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)
• Significant experience of management accounting / commercial finance work
