Michael Page Buying & Merchandising are seeking aWomenswear Level 1Assistant Merchandiser for this established UK Retailer based in London.
Purpose of the role:
• Assist the Junior Merchandiser in the effective implementation of the Departmental strategy by delivering a product offer that exceeds customers' expectations and achieves sales and profit targets through effective supply chain management.
• Use market and customer information together with historical data and forward trends to assist in the development of the department's phased plans
• In conjunction with Buying, monitor critical path for development and delivery of all product ranges
• Continually monitor allocation of product by grade, including presentation stocks

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will ideally have RETAIL experience from either a blue chip, or large high street retailer.
• A strong PASSION for Fast-fashion
• High level of confidence to establish relationships with Buyers throughout the company
• Commercial knowledge of the fashion industry
• ENTHUSIASM to progress and succeed within the Industry
