The responsibilities of the Senior Manager in the Global Markets Compliance team, London will include but not be limited to; • Provide leadership and oversight to a team of cross product Compliance officers in support of the teams objectives •Design, implement and manage a global process for the gathering, analysis and dissemination of performance metrics related to supported Global Markets businesses and the Compliance function • Oversight of non-advisory projects managed within the team, for example detailed responses to regulatory investigations or cross product work within Global Markets Compliance • In coordination with regulatory change and advisory compliance colleagues, ensure that Global Markets Compliance policies and procedures remain accurate and up to date. • Maintaining a framework to ensure that risks facing the relevant businesses are appropriately and consistently identified, assessed, mitigated and communicated to senior management, both in the Compliance function and in the business. • Advising other support services department on compliance related issues • Coordinate with Global Markets Compliance Product Teams on the drafting and delivery of training within the business
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have • A sound understanding of the UK financial services industry, or a similarly significant major market place, preferred but not essential • Understanding of Global Markets products. • Excellent communication and influencing skills • The ability to lead and motivate a team of Compliance Officers in a demanding Global Markets environment • Ambition to enhance compliance knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing and dynamic Markets environment.
