The position is a new one within the SAP Help Desk Team providing support on all 2nd and 3rd line issues to do with the SAP MM, PP and QM modules, as well as supporting the delivery of projects to design, deploy and update the system itself.

The primary function of this position is to support SAP business procedures and activities over a global IT refreshment process and look after all the SAP MM/PP end users issues and daily technical problems. This team, together with an overseas support team, provides 2nd and 3rd line SAP support to over 5,000 global users.

The SAP Support Analyst will also work closely with the business functional areas, project teams and third party providers in supporting them monitoring test results, developing technical specifications and testing solutions.
The summary of your tasks includes:

• Providing 2nd and 3rd line SAP support to our client's end users over the MM, PP and QM modules
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with staff and project teams;
• Ensure that requests are responded to in a timely manner
• Maintain, update and optimise our client's global SAP System
• Liaison with third party providers
• Monitor performance of systems in area of responsibility.
• Document processes and procedures

A permanent shift system is operated within the team so that the hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm are covered at all times.

Due to the nature of the work, regular out-of-hour's support may be required at weekends and other times for which paid overtime may be available.

Who we're looking for
** YOU MUST HAVE STRONG SAP MM, PP & QM KNOWLEDGE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE. ALL OTHER MODULES ARE NOT CONSIDERED**

Essential:

• Strong knowledge of supporting the SAP MM and PP modules
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM/PP/QM customer facing applications, including MM, PP and QM, in a Manufacturing environment

Desired:

• Must be able to operate within a team environment to deliver a professional support service
• A reliable and responsible attitude and understanding of the importance of the job - with particular regard to confidentiality, data integrity, security

• Good oral and written skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently to all levels of user within the organization
