Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Quality Manager is responsible for managing a small team of two Technicians but with a far wider scope envisaged in terms of the business as a whole and how it functions. The appointee will be a key member of the management team, tasked with management of the quality process from initial documentation through to the transportation documentation stage. Day to day activity will include elements of Health and Safety but predominantly looking at all forms of quality improvements designed to improve customer satisfaction, reduce waste generation and working toward best practice with regard to the current Quality management systems.

The successful candidate will be:

• Highly proactive, thorough and conscientious
•Capable of successfully engaging with the workforce and influencing behaviour at all levels
• Skilled within the maintenance and development of quality management systems ISO 9001 and 14001
• Technically proficient with a sound knowledge of best practice.
• Excellent problem solving / investigation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What's on offer
£30,000 to £35,000 + Pension + Bonus
