Senior Civil Engineer

Highways Maintenance and New Build

The ideal candidate will have experience working on one of the MAC's in the UK (ideally on the contractor side) or a similar Government funded, large scale highways maintenance scheme.

You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the project, reporting directly to the Senior project manager. You will have a large operational team reporting in to you so previous experience of managing teams of 50+ staff would give you a distinct advantage. Your team will consist of Engineers, Maintenance Managers and general labour.

You must have experience of working with both Consultants and the Client, managing large schemes and the day to day challenges associated with them.

The initial project is set to run for 2 years, with a further 3 years maintenance programme to follow, therefore this is a great opportunity to forge a good career for an international contractor in the middle east.

Who we're looking for
You must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering and have a strong track record of leading teams

The role is paying an attractive base salary of between £60,000 and £80,000 sterling plus a competitive benefits package.
