Audit Senior

This role will be varied and challenging, If you are looking for more responsibility now you are qualified this role and firm will definitely offer you the scope to do this.
• Planning the audit and discussion of the audit approach with the engagement
partner/manager.
• Agreement with the manager of staff allocations to specific areas of audit
work.
• Reading and updating the permanent file and reading the hey working papers
on the previous periods audit file.
• Supervision and training of assistants
• Perform those sections of audit work agreed with the engagement
manager to be reserved for the senior.
• Communication of technical problems to the engagement manager immediately,
making arrangements for meeting with the client if needed.
• Checking actual to budget times regularly, informing the manager of possible
shortfalls or over-runs, or of staff in excess of requirements.
• The senior is responsible for ensuring that all audit documentation is
complete, and in particular, working papers, points outstanding resolved,
schedules completed, audit completion memorandum
• The senior should draft the accounts (where the engagement terms include
their preparation) or review the clients final draft and, where appropriate,
should draft the management letter.
• Preparation of the accounts using accounts production software or checking
and reading over the accounts as appropriate, and checking and reading over the
management letter.

Who we're looking for
Ideal candidates will be ACA / ACCA qualified with previous audit /
accounts experience.
You will need to be highly organised & methodical with good
communication skills.
Must have previous experience of staff supervision.
Must have sound technical knowledge
