Business Development Manager/National Account Manager

My client is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and commercially astute BDM / NAM who is not afraid to approach business in an innovative and creative manner. Globe Union are currently undergoing an ambitious and visionary online project to build their business and are looking for an ambitious and like-minded individual to join them. At present, the UK arm of the business is developing its client services area and is entering into new channels with a new bathroom & kitchen retailing proposition.

Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director ,they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can demonstrate a successful track record of opening new accounts within the Grocery & High Street retail Channel. Experience within Homewares, Fixtures, Fittings, Furniture or Furnishings is preferred but not essential, however the desire to succeed is a must.

This role will ideally suit a Business Development Manager who is looking for an opportunity to work within a solid business that is passionate about providing Global Excellence within the bathroom & kitchen sector. You must be a team player, have the hunger to challenge the norm in exchange for a fair and pleasant working environment which enables you to learn, grow, and develop your potential both personally and professionally.

The position is flexible on location but presence in the office is paramount, especially in the first 4-5 months. If not local, then the ability to work from the Northwest office at least two days per week will be important.

Who we're looking for
• Excellent networker with previous experience in the above targeted channels

• Strong communication and presentation skills to senior buyer / Director Level.

• Previous experience of managing customer P&L.

• An interest and understanding of the Ecom, Online retailing space.

• The development and implementation of key products & services within client channel portfolio.

• The ability to research & present findings and stats to client in relation to their specific business channel .

What's on offer
£45,000-£55,000 plus package and generous bonus
