Purpose of Role
Provide overall direction on BT bid strategy
Provide commercial, financial and technical acumen to the bid process
To deliver financial performance, service delivery and long term strategic growth for the largest, most complex and most strategically important outsourced BPO and IT contracts
The Bid Delivery Director will be the primary point of contact to the client for all service delivery
Competencies
Must have a strong understanding of the local competitor landscape in BPO area
Ability to demonstrate a track record in ensuring that required resources, solutions and methodologies are identified delivered and effectively managed in order to deliver a competitive and winning bid team reporting to the head of BPO bids
Strong leadership and ownership of bids in Competitive Dialogue working closely with internal key BT stakeholders in all key decision making in relation to the bid, sign on and investment decisions
Accountable in an "in life" delivery capacity for the financial performance, service delivery and development of long term strategic growth
Key Responsibilities
To maintain and develop customer relationships at board/CEO level
Ensuring Customer satisfaction, delivering contract commitments within cost targets, profit margins and revenue growth
To create an environment where the bid teams are inspired and motivated to deliver and win business
To be accountable for contractual service levels
Sole accountability and responsibility for the financial and business performance of large scale contracts
To work within the BT framework of policy and procedure for winning and delivering sustainable profitable business
Full strategic and operational ownership of P&L with full management controls for setting both financial and functional targets plus control of associated budgets
Who we're looking for
Individual
Based in Aberdeen but must be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK
Must be able to operate independently
Strong business acumen and general management experience<BR>Highly experienced in managing major outsourced contracts
Leadership and vision
Exceptional relationship management skills at a senior level both internally and externally
MBA qualified or equivalent
