Head of Regulatory Compliance

We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Regulatory Compliance to fill a permanent position within the Legal & Compliance department in London. The Legal & Compliance Department focuses on ensuring that the Unibet business is operating in a compliant environment as per Gaming Regulations and License requirements. As the suitable candidate you will:


• Lead the Regulatory compliance department in regulatory policy development, compliance, audit and player safety.
• Ensure the Group remains complaint to Legal requirements, this upon a pro-active and business integrated (vs. re-active fire fighting)
• Manage and drive Group Regulatory Compliance Programme (UGRP) and quarterly Group Compliance Council (UGCC), uniting key Group Stakeholders across UGP departments.
• Ensure the group continues to use (next generation) smart technologies to leverage on the present capacity, notably in the filed of Player Safety (fraud prevention, KYC, AML and responsible gaming).
• Represent Unibet Group in relevant trade associations and/or expert working groups in sustainable regulation.
• Support Group/business within current regulatory context (.com to.local), including educational programme and assessment or regulatory requirements.

Who we're looking for
• A charismatic regulatory leader from either gaming, telecommunications, media or high tech business. People from other highly regulated industries will be also be considered
• Very good understanding of ICT technology/ processes
• The ability to comprehend, communicate and implement jurisdictional regulations, notably the ability to translate legal requirements into pragmatic solutions
• The ability to compose detailed, concise and accurate documents, both in terms of internal reporting as with liaising with external regulatory stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies/or gaming regulators.
• Great interpersonal & communication skills, notably ability to present findings to key stakeholders.
• Strategic ability to bring the group to the next level of regulatory compliance in a fast moving and changing environment.
• Languages: English and ideally one other European language.
