Senior Functional Analyst

The successful Senior Functional Analyst will work as part of the Global Business Application Systems Team for EMEA, and you must also be capable of driving forward the projects on an individual basis and taking clear ownership when required. The initial focus will be around the FICO and SD process areas however expertise in SAP MM and WM will also be considered as the system team expands.
This is a critical role to the business; you will be instrumental in delivering significant improvements on a European scale. As such, you will need to excel in a challenging and fast paced environment to ensure projects are managed and delivered on time.
Key deliverables:
The nature of the position means that the ability to communicate with all levels of the business is essential, the role includes:
• Delivering and supporting application solutions,
• Managing business partners, third party application support suppliers and delivery consultants
• Performing presentations and requirement capture
• Managing key stakeholders and influencing business process design,
• Working alongside consultancy partners, business process leads and potentially developing analysts,
• Acting as an expert to resolve complex issues and provide suggestions on improvements.
Who we're looking for
To be considered for the role of Senior Functional Analyst, you must be able to demonstrate:
• A proven track record as a SAP Solutions Architect or Lead/Principle SAP consultant with clear previous exposure to large implementation projects,
• Experience of working in an international environment,
• Experience of successfully managing key suppliers and stake holders up to a senior level in order to shape and implement the requirements as necessary,
• Specialist expertise in specific SAP process areas, ideally FICO and/or SD,
• Experience of working in Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Distribution organisations highly advantageous,
• It would be advantageous to have language skills in French, Italian or Spanish
