Senior HR Generalist

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the fast paced HR Team at Next Warehousing & Distribution.
Dependent on your experience, the role as Senior HR generalist would be either responsible for a large, single site operation based in Pontefract (West Yorkshire) or for a multi-site regional role, responsible for 7 smaller fulfilment centres across the UK.

The successful candidate will form the interface between the HR team and their site(s) responsibility and their skills will be utilised across a range of strategic and operational activities. The key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring HR business partnering delivers in line with organisation requirements.
- Providing practical advice, guidance and support on complex ER issues,providing feedback and coaching to the site management teams.
- Identifying, managing and implementing change.
- Recognising themes or concerns across the operational area which the HR team can influence.
- To be present at appeals and grievance meetings as required and support the HRO's with more complex issues.
- Working closely with the Union (USDAW) to ensure that the recognition agreement is embraced and that the relationship between USDAW and the Company is developed.
- Assisting in the design and delivery of appropriate training programmes.
- Supporting and fulfilling resourcing requirements.
- Assisting in the development of Next Warehousing and Distribution policies.
