BELFOR requires a Navision Developer to join their IT team on a permanent basis. Working within a forward thinking, International organisation you will ensure the internal development and support of their Navision ERP System. Furthermore, your main responsibilities will be:
• The Development of BELFOR's internal applications and modules through the use of Navision C/AL programming language, .NET technologies and Visual Basic.
• Using these programming technologies to work towards developing and integrating Navision with Microsoft Office.
• To engage stakeholders, of all levels, across IT and the business in order to effectively gain and prioritise key business requirements/deliverables for IT projects.
• To work towards introducing and managing a set of best IT working practices and procedures for BELFOR's IT team, in order to help move the company forward.
• Assisting the IT Manager in the development and implementation of new software and concepts; your ideas will be listened to and as such you can help in shaping the companies growth and expansion plans for the future.
• To provide support to the IT helpdesk on complex technical issues if needed.
Who we're looking for
• Someone with a deep understanding of Microsoft Navision ERP who has worked in both a standard and heavily bespoke environment.
• Expert level ability with Navision C/AL, and ideally another programming language such as Visual Basic, XML, .Net, C#, or MS SQL Server 2005.
• The ability to bring soft skills to the position in order to build relationships within the business and gather specific requirements for IT projects.
• A proactive, creative individual with the ability to bring recommendations to senior stakeholders and work towards making improvements to both core systems and procedures without supervision.
