Our client is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and customer focused HR leader with a passion for establishing and developing first-class HR strategies to join their HR function. As a true business partner you will take full responsibility for a corporate client base and will also take on responsibility for Learning & Development across the UK business. Key responsibilities will include:

BUSINESS PARTNERING (60%)
- Ensuring outstanding customer focus by delivering value-add, best in class HR support to your internal customer base;
- Act as a consultant and provide input on HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans;
- Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management and engagement& retention activities;
- Support line managers by driving a performance culture through coaching, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning meetings;
- Provide input and expertise in terms of UK labour law, policies and practices;
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures;
- Deliver on business-critical HR related projects.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT (40%)
- Manage the training needs analysis process across the UK and Ireland;
- Deliver the annual training plan and track progress on an ongoing basis;
- Identify any training gaps and develop appropriate training resources, workshops etc;
- Work closely with the Global Leadership Team and ensure managers attend appropriate leadership programmes.

Who we're looking for
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Manager / Business Partner with demonstrated success in meeting exceptional high standards in an high volume, fast-paced and hands-on environment. You will ideally have gained experience as a Business Partner within a fast-paced blue chip start-up technology business. Academically you will be CIPD qualified or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR or related field as well as MBTI and SHL qualifications are preferred.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of Commercial HR within the company;
- A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employee and corporate group to ensure a high level of employee engagement;
- Proven knowledge of practical application of UK HR practices and employment laws;
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environments;
- Coaching and mentoring experience at management level;
- Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programmes;
- Comfortable with a high volume workload;
- Strong internal and external customer service focus;
- Able to develop strong working relationships and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
