Excellent opportunity to join a large VAT team within the finance centre for this large multinational. As a member of the VAT compliance team there will be a requirement to:
• Work with other team members to complete multiple European VAT returns, Intrastats and EC Sales Lists with varying complexity
• Use SAP and excel to analyse and manipulate data
• As part of the preparation you will be expected to understand and proactively identify issues on your given returns. Where issues are identified you need to assist in driving resolutions
• Ensure SOX controls are adhered to
• Complete reviews of returns prepared by the other members of the team
• Participate in VAT related audits
• Proactively participate in process improvements designed to improve compliance reliability, lower cost and be able to gain a good understanding of main business

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have some previous experience in VAT returns and EC Sales Lists. You will need to be organised, able to work under the pressure of deadlines, investigates any discrepancies and work in detail but be able to keep an overall view of what you are doing and why. Previous experience with the SAP system would be helpful but is not a pre-requisite.
